Trips

As I have 'Trips' in the title of the blog so I thought I had better have a page with a link to all of the trips.

First Trip in 18 months was to Dunoon and there are several posts about the trip: Lock Eck, Strachur Church, The Lauder MemorialSandbank, and Innellan.

I made another trip to Dunoon in November 2021, Dunoon Pier, Loch Striven, and the ferry trip back.

The Beach I have visited most often since living here is Alnmouth, on another visit I collected some sea coal

As well as the beaches there are loads of other fascinating places to visit: Northumberlandia, Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Corbridge and the Churchhistoric Corbridge 1 and 2, and Cresswell

I made a short visit back to Suffolk in September 2021.

After Christmas in 2021, I paid a visit to Durham for a geocaching trip and went to the Cathedral and saw The Venerable Bede's Tomb, Father Smith's Organ Case, Prior Castel's Clock, and finally a few more random photos.

My first trip out in 2022 was to Branxton and the Battle of Flodden site.

I had a lovely day out with my nieces at Herrington County Park in mid-January.  This was followed a few days later with another trip north of the border, but only just, to Gordon.

In February I had a lovely trip to  Wallington Hall

In early March I made a trip back to Suffolk: The Hold, Needham Lake, Onehouse Pauper's Graveyard, Stowmarket and Sutton Hoo.

My third trip to Dunoon in nine months was in April 2022, our visits included Jubilee Point, Blairmore and the 5th of 5 posts about Blairmore, St Munn's, Kilmun Parish Church and Sandbank Hide.

A day trip to Edinburgh, St Cuthbert's Church, Old Carlton Burial Ground

A trip to Balfron from Dunoon
